Ads KPI Exporter is a lightweight productivity Chrome extension that allows digital advertisers, media buyers, and marketing analysts to export live performance and KPI tables from Meta Ads Manager directly to clean, structured JSON, Excel (.xls), and PDF documents.

Ads KPI Exporter does NOT collect, store, sell, or transmit your personal data or advertising metrics to external servers. All table parsing, data extraction, and file generation occur 100% locally within your browser.

📊 Data Collection & Handling

Ads KPI Exporter operates strictly offline in client-side memory. We do not operate any backend servers, databases, or tracking services for this extension, and we never receive your data.

What Data is Processed Locally

Table rows & columns: Performance metrics (spend, impressions, reach, cost per result, delivery status, etc.) displayed in your active Ads Manager table.
Entity names & IDs: The names and IDs of Campaigns, Ad Sets, and Ads visible on your screen during the export.
Selected date range & currency: The date range and account currency visible in your Ads Manager selector.

This data is converted into your chosen file format (JSON, Excel, or PDF) in memory and downloaded directly to your local computer. It is never transmitted across the network.

🔑 Permissions Explained

Ads KPI Exporter requests only the minimum permissions necessary to perform its core functionality:

activeTab Used to detect when you open the extension popup while viewing an active Meta Ads Manager tab.

scripting Used to execute the client-side table extraction script that reads the visible Ads Manager table cells and triggers virtual table scrolling to capture all rows.

downloads Used to trigger the browser download of the exported report file directly to your local Downloads folder.

Host access: https://adsmanager.facebook.com/* & https://business.facebook.com/adsmanager/* Used to interact only with official Meta Ads Manager pages so the extension can read the performance table you requested to export.

🚫 What We DON'T Do

❌ We don’t track your browsing history or activity across websites
❌ We don’t collect, store, or sell your advertising or financial data
❌ We don’t use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising SDKs
❌ We don’t modify your ads, budgets, or account settings
❌ We don’t send your exported files or data to any external server

🔒 Security

Ads KPI Exporter executes entirely within your browser's isolated extension sandbox. The extension makes no external network requests and does not load any remote code. All files (JSON, Excel, and PDF) are synthesized locally via client-side JavaScript.

👥 Third-Party Services

Ads KPI Exporter does not integrate with any third-party analytics or external APIs. All interactions take place locally between the extension and your active tab on Facebook Ads Manager.
